I’ve recently been thinking I’d like to swing my clubs a bit. There are some ranges near me with heated stalls, but I’m not nearly that hardcore. However I got an email about an upcoming event at Crystal Springs that seems like a bit of golf fun in the cold…especially if the forecasted warm temps stick around.
The 2nd Annual Winter Golf Pentathlon will be held at Crystal Spring in Vernon, New Jersey on February 26. Being a pentathlon it consists of five events:
- Frozen Turkey Challenge on Wild Turkey holes 1, 2 & 18; rental clubs provided
- Closest to the Snowman Contest
- Stymie Putting Contest in the Crystal Springs Country Club.
- 2-hole Simulator Tournament
- Culminating in the final event…. the Cabin Fever Shootout
There will be prizes for top 3 overall and individual event winners as well as snacks and drinks included.
